Old Bella Vista Recipes

A new recipe book is now available in the Museum gift shop consisting of old family recipes donated by Josephine Keith, daughter in law of E.L. Keith, owner of the Lake Bella Vista Resort in the 1950's. Scans of the original handwritten recipes are included which were typed up for the recipe book by our volunteer Gina Kietzmann.  $20.00  Great holiday gift idea.

The Bella Vista Historical Museum recently received this quilt that expert quilter Judy Edwards of Bella Vista made and donated as a fundraiser for the museum.  The queen sized quilt, on display at the museum, is valued at $750.  Raffle tickets are on sale now at $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00, and are expected to be in great demand.  The winning ticket will be drawn at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, just in time for Christmas gift giving.   Stop by the museum to buy your tickets.

The museum is currently looking for volunteers to work a once-a-month shift as docents (staff members). You can learn more about being a docent here.
